That’s a wrap on 2019!
2019 was a year of new challenges and opportunities to express creativity in our clients’ video projects. Once again, we worked with a broad range of clients to produce end to end solutions for video and content production, from training videos, to capturing an event, even creating Instagram stickers for a local festival. We enjoy keeping up with the latest media trends, bringing them to the table for our clients to use in stand-out ways.
What are your resolutions in 2020? We have a few, including streamlining the video process even more, making it easier than ever for you to understand the workflow and review your project every step of the way. Another is to provide an even wider range of services to you, to improve customer and investor engagement with your brand.
We can’t express enough how important it is to use video in business marketing. Here are a few examples of how our client videos made an impact.
An event hosted by your business is the perfect opportunity to capture a video and share it with the world. We had already done a corporate video for ChemCentre when they asked us to to film their 2019 Open Day. We’d shown the serious side of the work they do. But the Open Day was an opportunity to appeal to a different audience. More than 4000 people attended and enjoyed free fun and educational activities, displays and demonstrations. ChemCentre not only provides specialised chemical and forensic science services to WA, it also aims to inspire the next generation of students around the important role science and chemistry plays in our community and its impact on the economy. This video showed ChemCentre in a different light. It was an opportunity that we didn’t want to miss.
Animation is not often considered during the initial phase of video production. We like to show clients the possibilities and impact animation can have in your video, particularly if aspects of your business are challenging to convey. Neometals’ lithium battery recycling project provided a great opportunity to use animation, to explain the recycling process in a clear and aesthetic way. If your business aims to train or educate, why not create a video series? A number of short social media friendly videos will not only help maximise use of your footage but give you plenty of content to post on your website or social media platform. With careful pre-production planning, one video shoot could provide months worth of content. A stylish intro and outro (incorporating your branding) will connect your episodes and voila, you have a personalised series of videos. A series of professional videos encourages viewers to subscribe for future content.
In 2019 we created 12 videos for Glengarry Private Hospital for their ‘We Love Small’ campaign, showcasing their maternity program and facilities. One full day shoot at the hospital resulted in enough footage for six months worth of content to promote and share.
