Personal or hands-on training is not always possible. If you’re part of a company that doesn’t have the luxury of in-house trainers, video training can be a wise use of resources. Many of our clients have found that once they’ve tried video training, it becomes the foundation of their training program.
An instructional DVD is a popular way to teach and can be adapted for different learning styles. Lasso uses a range of techniques to simplify learning, from animating complex processes to delivering information in bite-size chunks. Lasso’s writers are also experienced in turning complicated concepts into simple language.
Lasso’s training videos help to speed-up training across large groups. In 2008, Lasso produced training videos for TransPerth bus drivers. This enabled them to understand new routes quickly. Argyle Diamonds’ process plant workers were also trained using video.
For the first time, the entire plant was animated to ensure that workers had a good understanding of the entire diamond processing circuit. Lasso has also produced successful training videos for Optus and medical training videos for GPs.
Lasso’s experience in producing education and training videos for indigenous audiences has led to a variety of work in the mining and government sectors.
